qualified as C-130 tactical instructors within 5 years of the date of
assignment to the C-130J MATS. All instructors shall have logged a
minimum of 200 flying hours in the C-130J aircraft or C-130J flight
simulator with at least 50% occurring in the aircraft. Instructors who
will be teaching formal school courses must have an associate degree or

Flight Data Specialist / Airfield Management
The primary purpose of this position is to provide direct support to
aircrews, furnish pilots with a full range of information pertinent to
flight planning and flight safety. Review, correct, and process flight
plans; flight follow flight plans. Use AIS system for entering flight
plan data to the FAA. Provide time critical assistance to pilots during
all phases of flight, pre-flight, in-flight, and post flight. Keep
pilots informed on airfield status and navigational aids. Process L/S
Notice to Airmen and additional advisories pilots need to conduct safe
flights. Coordinate with other base agencies to meet aircrew needs for
billeting transportation, aircraft maintenance, and transient
maintenance. Initiate communications search on overdue aircraft. Provide
emergency assistance to aircraft by activating the SCN. Respond to
In-flight and Ground emergencies. Conduct routine inspections/checks of
airfield for flight safety hazards, including foreign object damage
material, violations of obstruction criteria, and hazards to landing,
take-off, taxiing or parking aircraft. Determine BWC and RSC. Perform a
variety of duties to include: Assistant Training Manager, Flight Data
Coordinator, and administrative support. The successful candidate will
meet the following requirements: AFSC-1CO51 or 1C751 experience within
the last three years; worked at least three years in an Air Force
Airfield Management Operations Center; completed EST, Train the Trainer
course; have a valid driver’s license and proof of a good driving
record; be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance; pass color vision

This is a great opportunity for retired or separating mobility pilots
and navigators to live and work in Hawaii in a new, comfortable facility
with a solid team of aviators. We task, plan and schedule missions for
PACAF C-17s, C-130s, KC-135s, C-12s, C-40 and C-37, coordinating with
users, crews, and wing current ops. We obtain dip clearances, create
computer flight plans, enter mission data into GDSS, and work all the
general aspects of flight planning and scheduling. If you have Current
Operations, Wing Scheduling, AMOCC/AMD, or TACC experience and are
familiar with Pacific operations, you're just the type flyer we're
looking for. However, if you just have a solid USAF mobility flying
background, a good work ethic, and a strong customer service attitude,
you may still have what it takes. Planners normally work five days a
week, mostly day or afternoon/evening shifts. We dress comfortably--polo
shirts and khaki pants--and work comfortably in our newer work areas.
You'll need to qualify for and maintain a Secret level security

compliance with airfield criteria, aircraft foreign object damage and
bird aircraft strike hazards. Inspections and checks are focused on the
condition of runways, taxiways, aprons, operational status of airfield
support facilities (airfield lighting, navigational aids, etc.) and
obstacles that may be violations to airfield standards. Initiate actions
to eliminate violations to airfield criteria, impose airfield
restrictions as required, track status of violations. Conduct airfield
checks to determine runway surface conditions (RSC) and runway condition
readings (RCR), reporting results to air traffic control agencies and
base flying units. Declare bird watch conditions based on observations
of bird activity or information received from airborne aircraft, air
traffic control, or other personnel. Maintain vigilance on the bird
watch condition, and upgrade or downgrade the condition based on updated
information. Dispersed wildlife from the airfield to avoid conditions
that were hazardous to aircraft operations. Conditions of Employment:
Must have a current driver’s license. Must be able to obtain and
maintain National Agency Clearance at the Secret level. Must be able
