The 130th Rescue Squadron at Moffett Federal Airfield is interviewing
both rated navigators non-rated candidates for traditional navigator
positions. Moffett is located at the south end of San Francisco Bay in
the heart of 'Silicon Valley.' This area of Northern California offers
accessibility to the Sierra mountains, Redwoods, a beautiful coastline,
and numerous wineries. The primary mission of the 130th RQS is combat
search and rescue (CSAR) which involves NVG low level navigation,
helicopter air refueling, along with airdrops of Pararescue jumpers and
their equipment. The unit participates in AEF rotations and does deploy
overseas. If you are interested in this challenging navigational
mission, please e-mail andrew.ferguson@camoff.ang.af.mil or call

in-flight refuel helicopters and airdrop Pararescue personnel and their

Expect a high ops tempo, with AEF participation. There are a lot of
things to enjoy in this area and culturally the Bay Area is second to
none. From the coastal beaches, central valley waterways, and mountains
of the Sierra Nevada - all within a modest drive. One word of caution,
this area has a VERY high cost of living and the ability to "Guard bum"
on enlisted pay is not a reality. NO full time positions available at
this time. Applicants should forward a Resume, personnel rip, letters of
recommendation and references. Prior fliers should include summary of
prior qualification, schools attended, flight hours and copies of Form
8's.

Georgia
Air National Guard
The
116th Air Control Wing is the Air Force’s first Total Force wing. It is
comprised of 10 different categories of personnel from the active duty
Air Force, Army, Air National Guard, federal civilian workforce, State
of Georgia, and industrial contractors. The many similarities and
differences among these 10 statuses of personnel make for a very dynamic
organization that has not been experienced before in the military. Our
unit is on Robins AFB, Warner Robins, GA which is located in Middle
Georgia, 100 miles south of Atlanta and 16 miles south of Macon. Robins
Air Force Base is the largest industrial complex in Georgia. It is
situated on 8,722 acres and contains more than 14 million square feet of
facilities and employs more than 25,000 contractors, military members,
and DoD civilian service workers.
Our
mission is Joint STARS operation and maintenance. Joint STARS consists
of an airborne platform--an E-8C aircraft with a multi-mode radar
system--and U.S. Army mobile Common Ground Stations (CGSs). The E-8C, a
modified Boeing 707, is equipped with a 40-foot long canoe-shaped radome
mounted under the forward fuselage which houses a 24-foot side-looking
phased array radar antennae. The radar is capable of providing targeting
and battle management data to all Joint STARS operators, both in the
aircraft and in the CGSs, through secure data links. These operators, in
turn, can call on aircraft, missiles or artillery for fire support. With
a reported range in excess of 150 miles, this radar can cover an
estimated 386,100 square miles in a single eight-hour sortie.

CACI International Inc.
Full-time civilian contractor Airlift and Tanker
planner/schedulers are now, or soon will be, available at the Pacific
Air Operations Center's Air Mobility Division (formerly the PACAF AMOCC).
This is a great opportunity for retired or separating mobility pilots
